Publisher Content License and Terms of Use
Effective October 31, 2026
These terms govern your use of content licensed from Wire Report ("Wire Report", "we", "us"), through any Wire Report package, feed, email, or the Publisher Studio. "You" means the publisher that subscribes. By subscribing, accessing the Studio, or publishing licensed content, you agree to these terms.
1. What you license
1.1 Licensed content means the news items, alerts, recaps, digests, cards, images, and suggested post text we deliver to you, including output you generate in the Publisher Studio.
1.2 We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license, for the term of your paid subscription, to publish licensed content on the websites, newsletters, apps, and social media accounts you own or control and identified to us ("your channels").
1.3 You may not: resell, sublicense, or syndicate licensed content to third parties; offer it as a feed, API, or dataset; use it to build or train a competing news, data, or content service; scrape or bulk-download it; or use it in any unlawful, defamatory, or deceptive way.
1.4 Licensed content is editorial coverage, not raw data. No raw statistics, box scores, data feeds, or bulk data are licensed, and you may not attempt to extract them.
2. Branded and unbranded content
2.1 Branded content carries the Wire Report name or mark. Branded content must be published exactly as delivered. You may not edit, crop out, alter, or obscure branded cards or text; place branded content beside headlines or material that misrepresents it; or imply that Wire Report endorses you, your opinions, advertisers, or products.
2.2 Unbranded content is available only on packages that include it (currently Live and Multi-League). Unbranded content may be edited and published under your own name. Once you publish unbranded content, you are the publisher of record: you are responsible for its accuracy as published, any edits you make, its context, and any claims arising from it. You may not attribute unbranded content to Wire Report.
2.3 If you edit content, you must use the unbranded version. Edited content must never carry the Wire Report name or mark.
2.4 We may ask you to remove branded content that breaks section 2.1. You agree to remove it within 24 hours of our request.
3. Attribution and data sources
3.1 Where you credit a source for licensed content, credit Wire Report only.
3.2 You must not name, credit, or imply access to any upstream data provider, licensor, or source we use, in public copy or downstream distribution, even if you believe you know who it is.
4. Accuracy, corrections, and no warranty
4.1 We work to report accurately and quickly, but sports news changes fast and licensed content may contain errors, delays, or automated-synthesis mistakes. Licensed content is informational only. It is not advice and is not fit for betting, wagering, investment, medical, or legal decisions.
4.2 When we correct or withdraw an item, we will notify you through the Studio or by email. You agree to apply the correction or remove the item from your channels within 24 hours (branded content) and to use reasonable efforts to do so for unbranded content you still publish.
4.3 LICENSED CONTENT, THE STUDIO, AND ALL DELIVERY METHODS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. Coverage, timing, and volume vary by league and event.
5. Your responsibilities
5.1 You are responsible for your channels, your accounts, your edits, your headlines, the content around licensed content, your compliance with platform rules (including X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Bluesky), and any advertising or monetization you run.
5.2 You must keep Studio access credentials confidential and not share access outside your organization.
5.3 Logos, colours, and other materials you upload to the Studio must be yours or licensed to you. You grant us a limited license to use them only to generate your output.
6. Liability and indemnity
6.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, AUDIENCE, OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
6.2 You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wire Report, its owner, and its operators against claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your use of licensed content in breach of these terms; unbranded or edited content you publish; content you place around licensed content; materials you upload; or your channels and accounts.
7. Term, suspension, and termination
7.1 Subscriptions run month to month and you may cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
7.2 We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach sections 1.3, 2, or 3, or if continuing would expose us to legal or reputational harm.
7.3 On termination you must stop publishing new licensed content. Branded content already published may remain unless we ask for its removal under section 2.4 or 4.2.
8. Ownership
Wire Report retains all rights in licensed content, the Wire Report name and marks, card designs, templates, and the Studio, except the limited license granted here. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership.
9. Changes and general terms
9.1 We may update these terms. Material changes will be dated and emailed to you at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use after that date means you accept them.
9.2 These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with your package description and any written pilot terms, are the entire agreement. If a signed pilot agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls.
